‘Strong Pound causing problems with British exports’
Everyone from multinational manufacturers to small-scale exporters are finding that the strength of Sterling has a downside.
The Pound’s inexorable rise is wreaking havoc with British companies exposed to foreign markets and causing a decrease in exports.
You would think this would cause problems for transport companies like ourselves but even during these tough times Whittle Eastern Europe is expanding.
We now have additional premises and we are located in 4 different offices – one office for admin/accounts and three for operational staff; CIS department, Central Europe (including Poland, Czech, Slovakia and Hungary) and the Balkans.
Also due to big increases in volumes we are currently recruiting new staff to work in our Polish department to help us manage our constantly growing workload.
